A writer, illustrator, and theology scholar, Lisa's central interest pertains to the relationship of theology to the imagination. Publishing a novel at age 16, Lisa went on to study Creative Writing and Philosophy as an undergraduate.

Lisa's interest in Christian apologetics, moreover, led to an internship with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. This was followed by a year's training at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, by the same organization.

Lisa then earned a Master of Theology from the University of Oxford, with an emphasis on Narrative. She is currently reading for a PhD at King's College London, researching the Narrative Theology of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis, under the guidance of Professor Alister McGrath.
